A sitemap is a file that lists every page on your site so search engines can find them all.
It lives at an address like yourbusiness.com/sitemap.xml. Google reads it to learn what pages exist and when they changed. It does not affect ranking on its own.
When you rebuild a site, the sitemap should list the new pages at their final addresses. Old addresses that moved need redirects, not a sitemap entry.
Think Bright Sites generates a sitemap for your rebuilt site. We submit it in Search Console after go-live, or show you how.
robots.txt is a small file that tells search engines which parts of your site to skip.
A 301 redirect sends visitors and search engines from an old address to a new one, permanently.
A canonical tag tells search engines which address is the official one when a page can be reached several ways.
Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows your business on Google Maps and in local search.
Paste your URL. We rebuild it, show you the match, and measure the speed. No template. No blank page. Human review from start to finish.
