WPBakery is an older WordPress page builder that stores layouts as shortcodes.
It came bundled with thousands of premium themes for years. Many business sites still run it. If your editor is full of square brackets, this is likely why.

Think Bright Sites rebuilds from the page visitors see. The shortcodes never enter the picture. You get clean HTML with your content.

WordPress is the open-source software that runs a large share of the web, usually with a theme and a stack of plugins.
